Solidarity UdA Committee

Who we are

The University of Andorra's Solidarity UdA Committee, which is made up of representatives of all the ranks of the university community (students, teaching staff and non-teaching staff), works to foster the social, solidarity and co-operation function of the University of Andorra through awareness-creating tasks and volunteerism.
Its aim is to promote the participation of the entire university community and to channel co-operation actions for development and for the defence of Human Rights.

Mission

The University of Andorra's Solidarity UdA Committee has the role of activating solidarity and co-operation attitudes in the university community, to commit itself to society.

Its objectives are:

• To promote university volunteerism
• To foster values of solidarity in a special way among the university community 
• To encourage the social, solidarity and co-operation function of the University of AndorraTo promote the participation of the entire university community 
• To stimulate and channel co-operation actions for development and the defence of Human Rights 
• To create cohesion among the members of the entire university community (students, teaching staff and non-teaching staff)
• To awaken a university conscience in students, not just with regard to academic aspects, but also social, cultural, etc. aspects.
  

To be able to attain these objectives, the following lines of action are planned:

Creating awareness:

• To carry out and support awareness-creation campaigns and actions

Volunteerism:

• To encourage volunteerism at the University
• To support NGO projects and those of non-profit-making organisations in the Principality of Andorra and abroad through fund-raising activities
