The University of Andorra hosts the IberoSing International Workshop 2026

The University of Andorra (UdA) hosted, from 6 to 8 July, the second part of the fifth edition of the IberoSing International Workshop 2026, organised by the Iberoamerican Webinar of Young Researchers in Singularity Theory. This conference, together with the first part held at the University of Zaragoza from 29 June to 3 July, lasted a total of 10 days.
With more than 30 international participants, the aim was to bring together early-career researchers, as well as established researchers, working in the field of singularity theory and related areas.
Singularity theory is a branch of mathematics at the intersection of algebra and geometry that studies points at which an object or phenomenon ceases to behave predictably. These points, known as singularities, occur across various fields of science.
