The University of Andorra (UdA) bases its teaching, research and transfer activities on the values of rigour, quality and excellence. Personalised monitoring of students is one of the principal advantages of studying at UdA, with guidance aimed at encouraging creativity, the critical spirit and respect for diversity.

UdA staff are also encouraged to grow personally and professionally in a work environment where they are in permanent contact with young people. Staff can take part in innovative projects, receive lifelong training, develop professionally and attain positions of responsibility, developing their talent and contributing to the progress of society by helping to form the new generations.

The UdA provides a pleasant, collaborative work environment. Staff enjoy flexible working hours, the possibility of teleworking for part of the day, and a generous leave policy aimed at ensuring personal, family and work-life balance.

The UdA team is divided into two large groups: Teaching and Research Staff (TRS) and Administrative and Technical Staff (ATS). In the first group, recruitment processes differ according to whether the post offered is for permanent, temporary or collaborating teachers. See below for descriptions of the recruitment processes in each of the categories, and the calls for applications open for each professional profile:

Tenured faculty

The tenured faculty guarantees the smooth running of the university’s academic activities. The places for tenured faculty are published in the BOPA.

In the event that the terms and conditions of the call so establish, if the candidate who has won the competition does not have a doctorate at the moment of taking up the position, he/she may be hired on a temporary basis until the maximum period of time for obtaining the doctorate has elapsed. From that moment onwards, the candidate may be hired on a permanent basis or, if he/she has not obtained the doctorate, the employment contract will be terminated.
The Statutes of the University of Andorra regulate the rights and duties of the faculty.
