Around 80 students celebrate the completion of their studies at the UdA

The University of Andorra (UdA) held its 2026 Graduation Ceremony on Friday, 26 June. The ceremony brought together around 80 students who are completing their Diploma Professional Avançat (DPA), bachelor’s or master’s degrees this year, out of the more than 110 students expected to graduate in total during the 2025–2026 academic year.
The ceremony was attended by students from the bachelor’s degrees in Education Sciences, Nursing, Business Administration and Computer Science, as well as from the Diploma Professional Avançat (DPA) in Accounting and Administration. This year, for the first time, graduates from the online programmes offered by the University of Andorra in collaboration with the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) also took part in the ceremony, namely the bachelor’s degrees in Law and Communication and the master’s degree in Law. The 2026 cohort of the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration also stands out as one of the largest in the University’s history.
The ceremony opened with an address by the Rector of the University of Andorra, Juli Minoves, who congratulated the graduates on completing this stage of their academic journey and encouraged them to face the future with confidence, curiosity, critical thinking and a commitment to lifelong learning.
The ceremony was also attended by Hugues Kenfack, Rector of Toulouse Capitole University, who was presented with the University of Andorra’s Medal of Honour by Rector Minoves in recognition of his academic achievements and his contribution to strengthening cooperation between the two institutions. Cooperation between the two universities dates back to 2004, when Toulouse Capitole University began offering its Law students a specialisation in Andorran Law taught by the University of Andorra. During Dr Kenfack’s visit, the two rectors also signed an agreement to strengthen the lines of cooperation between the two institutions.
During the ceremony, the graduates received the class photograph, a certificate of participation and the graduation stole from the heads of the different schools. The stole, made from fabric in the University’s corporate colour, symbolises the completion of their studies. The event also featured addresses by class representatives and student representatives, who shared memories and experiences from their time at the University. Among the reflections shared during the speeches was the fact that this cohort’s university experience coincided with the arrival of generative artificial intelligence in the classroom. This development has marked their time at university and has highlighted the importance of critical thinking, independent judgement and the ability to learn as essential skills for the future.
