During the second semester of the Doctoral Programme, the doctoral candidate must present their Research Project with the support of the thesis mentor.

The Research Project must include a detailed description of the subject of doctoral study as well as a detailed plan for the following two years.

The project must be admitted by the Research and Doctoral Commission of the University of Andorra and defended before a panel.

The panel:

• Is nominated by the Research and Doctoral Commission
• Is formed by three doctors.
• The thesis mentor may not be part of the panel.
