Language Resources
Catalan, a language spoken by more than ten million people around the world, is the official language of the Principality of Andorra. Several institutions, both public and private, work to conserve and promote the use of this language in all spheres of activity.
Catalan is also the language of the Universitat d’Andorra, and the majority of courses are delivered mainly in this language.
The Andorran Government, the communes and schools and the University of Andorra, amongst other bodies, all organise courses, both face-to-face and online, and provide a large number of resources to encourage the use of Catalan as a vehicular language.
People’s needs as regards Catalan can be very varied: to learn to speak or write the language; to perfect their language skills; to learn to write a particular type of text; to solve a doubt; to increase vocabulary, etc.
To help users resolve such needs, we provide links to some of the resources available (please go to Language resources section).
